Cam Newton has been linked to the Miami Dolphins via unfounded internet rumors, and Tyreek Hill has made it clear how he would feel about becoming teammates with the former NFL MVP.
A rumor that surfaced on social media Wednesday claimed Newton was spotted at a recent Dolphins practice. Even if that is true, it does not sound like Newton and Hill exchanges pleasantries. The star wide receiver had a savage response to the rumor.
“This team all ready has too many kids,” Hill wrote on X.

Hill supposedly has seven kids with multiple different women, so there may have been some self-deprecation at play there. Or, he could have just been making a joke about how no one wants Newton on the Dolphins.
Either way, we doubt Hill and Newton are on the best terms with one another at the moment. Newton was one of the few members of the NFL community who were critical of Hill over the way the wide receiver acted when he was pulled over by police in Miami earlier this month.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said the team is sticking with Sylar Thompson as their starting QB while Tua Tagovailoa is out with a concussion. Miami also signed a notable veteran this week, so there is little chance they are looking at the possibility of bringing in Newton.
