The Miami Dolphins lost another key player to a concussion on Sunday.
Dolphins running back De’Von Achane took a big hit during the first half of Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The initial tackle looked like it involved helmet-to-helmet contact, and the back of Achane’s helmet also bounced off the turf.
Prayers up for Achane. Went down hard and now is getting medical assistance.#MIAvsNE pic.twitter.com/lR6P66WYRs

Achane left the game following the play. He was quickly ruled out with a concussion.
The Dolphins, of course, have been without Tua Tagovailoa for several weeks after the quarterback suffered his latest concussion. Some have called for Tagovailoa to retire, but it does not sound like he is considering walking away from the NFL. He is eligible to return from injured reserve in Week 8.
Achane entered Week 5 with 53 carries for 165 yards and a touchdown. He also has 20 catches for 187 yards and a score. Miami’s offense has looked completely lost without Tagovailoa. Things could get even worse if Achane has to miss time.
