Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese somehow evaded the watchful eyes of the referees Thursday during one play against the Dallas Wings at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Ill.
Reese jumped a passing lane for an easy steal midway through the third quarter of the Wings-Sky contest.
Reese appeared to get away with a couple of double dribbles and an egregious travel en route to an uncontested layup.

Reese scored another basket just a few seconds later to give the Sky a 57-35 lead — their largest of the game. The Sky held on for an 83-72 win against the scuffling Wings.
Reese had one of the best games of her young career in the victory over Dallas. The LSU alum finished with 16 points on 7/13 shooting from the field to go along with 18 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
Thursday’s free pass was a little out of the ordinary given that Reese hasn’t exactly had the best experience with WNBA referees so far. Reese was whistled for a flagrant foul for whacking Caitlin Clark in the head during the Sky’s prior contest against the Indiana Fever.
Reese also got ejected from a game earlier this month after disrespecting one of the officials.
