Neville Hewitt must have watched a lot of Randy Orton growing up.
The Houston Texans linebacker Hewitt went viral during Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills for his insane flying tackle in the second quarter. Hewitt, who also plays on special teams, decided to lend a helping hand when his teammates were trying to bring down Bills returner Brandon Codrington off a punt.
Codrington looked to be wrapped up by Houston with his forward progress totally impeded … but Hewitt decided to finish the job by charging in with a somersault tackle, RKO style.
Here is the video of Hewitt’s hilariously deranged tackle.

The 31-year-old Hewitt is a 10-year NFL veteran who is now on his third career team. As such, he was probably waiting a very long time for an opportunity like that one.
You definitely cannot blame Hewitt for going for the finishing move there either. Just last week, we saw a ball-carrier seemingly get tackled but then suddenly spring up for extra yardage because he wasn’t totally down.
