If there’s any wonder why the New York Giants have struggled this season, look no further than how they ended their first drive against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in Seattle, Wash. on Sunday.
The Giants took the ball down to the Seattle 5 for a 1st-and-goal situation in the first quarter. They ran the ball twice to get it to the one and then got stopped for no gain on 3rd-and-goal. The Giants decided to go for it on 4th-and-goal, but then something terrible happened.
Eric Gray lost a fumble by the goal line, and Rayshawn Jenkins picked up the ball and ran 102 yards the other way for a touchdown.
99 yards and a skip into the endzone…

It doesn’t get worse than that. Here you are thinking you’re going to get at least three points to take a lead on the road, and then that happens.
One college football team can completely relate to what happened to the Giants on that play.
