Everything seems to be going poorly for the Florida State Seminoles.
Not only are the ‘Noles 1-5 this season, but they also just lost a top recruit. Four-star wide receiver Daylan McCutcheon has flipped his college commitment from FSU to the Texas Longhorns, we learned on Thursday.
McCutcheon had been committed to FSU since July but is now committing to the Longhorns.

McCutcheon is listed by 247 Sports as a four-star recruit. Their composite rankings have McCutcheon as the No. 107 player in the 2025 class.
McCutcheon is from Lucas, Texas, which is in the Dallas area. The trip from there to Austin is about 250 miles, which is significantly closer than heading to Tallahassee, Fla.
McCutcheon is in his senior year at Lovejoy High School.
Texas is currently 5-0 and the No. 1 team in the country.
